The story of a 13 year old girl who died from circumstances allegedly linked to sexual abuse from her uncle and her uncle’s son in Benue State, Nigeria has gone viral and sends chills to the spine of everyone who has heard of it.

It is however sad that this little girl is reported to have gone through this harrowing experience for 5years largely unnoticed whilst those who became aware, did not report to relevant authorities and did nothing about it but for the recent intervention by a good Samaritan.

Whilst the demise of Ochanya Ogbanje comes as a rude shock, it is a clarion call to every humans to please take responsibility for our fellow humans. #Say NO to (Child) Abuse #Say NO to Domestic Violence
